Bridal Shower Game: Would She Rather?

Find out who knows the bride-to-be best with this bridal shower trivia game.

Would You Rather? is a popular party game that has players answering amusing hypothetical questions. It’s a fun way to get to know other people, and maybe even learn something new about yourself. And, with a small twist, it can be turned into a sort of trivia challenge about someone special.

For this article, that someone special is the guest of honor at a bridal shower. This version of the game, called Would She Rather?, tests how well everyone knows the bride-to-be. It’s a short activity that’s easy to set up, especially if you use the printable I’ve created for you.

How to Play

This is your basic hand-out-and-score type of game, so no need for detailed step-by-step instructions. That said, there’s a little more prep involved than your usual Would You Rather? game.

First, you’ll need a list of Would You Rather? questions. Have the bride-to-be answer these questions ahead of time, and keep her answers on hand as your answer key.

At the bridal shower, hand out a worksheet with the same questions and have each player fill out what they think the bride answered. Make sure everyone knows this is about the guest of honor and not themselves!

If you don’t what to go through the trouble of printing out a worksheet for everyone, you can also simply read the questions aloud and have people write their answers on a blank sheet of paper. This makes it easy to come up with your own questions, which can be highly tailored to the bride’s personality.

Once everyone has answered the questions, read the answers aloud and have people grade themselves. The person who gets the most right is the winner and ideally receives some sort of prize.
