Elevate your next spring fling with Easter-themed guessing games.

Easter may be celebrated on a different date each year, but one thing is always the same – it’s a great time for get togethers. And you know what’s always a good idea at get togethers? Classic party games like Charades and Pictionary.

One of the best things about these games is that they don’t cost anything to host. All you really need are word lists, which you can find on this site and elsewhere on the internet. Better yet, you can find word lists with an Easter theme that’s perfect for the occasion.

That’s exactly what I’ve got for you in this article. Read on for my Easter-related word lists and printables you can use for your games. Oh, and stick around for a couple of general ideas on making your party game a success.

Easter Charades and Pictionary Ideas

Besides using the above word lists, I have a few other suggestions for your Easter guessing game.

Easter prizes. Ideally, you should have some sort of prize for the winners of your game, and it’s easy to think of some that play right into your Easter theme. For example, the prize could be an Easter basket that the players on the winning team can divide among themselves. Or you could put candy in some plastic eggs and let the players randomly pick one.

Easter team names. You might want to encourage your players to come up with team names that fit your Easter theme. I’m thinking of silly names like The Wascally Wabbits, The Dye Hards or the Egg-cellent Egg Beaters.

Mix and match. While I have one list for Charades and another for Pictionary, you can absolutely print out both and use your favorite words. You may want to do this to avoid religious concepts, include more religious concepts, or simply make sure you cover all the things that scream “Easter” to you. The choice is yours.
